User Guide

Superadmin

The platform view. Superadmins don't belong to a customer company — they manage the companies themselves: creating tenants, setting plans, watching subscription revenue, and keeping the system's shared settings.

This guide is for Jobmand platform staff. If you administer a single company, you want Company Settings instead.

Quick overview

A superadmin sees a completely different sidebar from everyone else, and is not limited by plan — plan gating is bypassed entirely, so every feature is reachable regardless of what any company has bought.

A superadmin lands on Overview after signing in.

These screens are shown in English regardless of the language setting — the platform screens haven't been translated.

Platform Overview

Four KPIs, a recent-companies list and a system status panel.

KPIWhat it counts
Total CompaniesEvery tenant on the platform
Active CompaniesThose currently in good standing
Locked CompaniesTenants whose users are hitting the renewal screen — the number to act on
Est. Monthly RevenueEstimated recurring revenue across all subscriptions

Recent Companies shows the newest tenants — useful for spotting a signup that stalled during setup. System Status reports the platform's own health.

Locked Companies is the number that matters daily. Every locked tenant is a customer who cannot work, usually because of a failed card. It's a support queue, not a statistic.

Companies

Tenant management: the list of every company on the platform, with create and edit.

Creating a company

One form creates the tenant and its first administrator together. Four blocks:

BlockFields
CompanyCompany Name, Active Plan, Billing Cycle, Account Status, Max Users
AdminAdmin Full Name, Admin Email, Admin Password — the first account that can sign in
AddressThe company's address
ContactPhone, General Email, Website, Logo URL, Stripe Customer ID

Plan, cycle & status

FieldEffect on the tenant
Active PlanDecides which modules appear in their sidebar. See Feature by plan
Billing CycleHow often they're charged
Account StatusSetting a company to inactive puts every one of its users behind the renewal screen immediately
Max UsersThe seat limit. When they hit it, their admin can't add employees

Account Status is a live switch. Flipping a company to inactive locks its users out of a running workday — nothing is deleted, but they stop working the moment you save. Coordinate with whoever owns the customer relationship first.

Seeding the first admin

The Admin block creates the account the customer signs in with. Everything else — their employees, customers, catalog — they build themselves from there.

Hand over the email and password directly and have them change it. Then point them at Getting Started and first-day setup.

Stripe Customer ID

Links this tenant to its subscription record at the payment provider. It's what makes the company's own Billing screen show a plan, a card and invoices.

A wrong or missing Stripe Customer ID is the usual cause of "we paid but Jobmand says we didn't". If a customer reports that, check this field first — the payment can be perfectly fine while the tenant is pointed at the wrong record, or none.

Stripe Subscriptions

Every subscription payment across every tenant, in one filterable table, with three figures on top:

You can arrive here pre-filtered from other screens — for example, following a specific company's payments straight from its record.

System group

Translations and Parameters, both covered in Company Settings.

Tenant isolation

Every company's data is separated by the server, not by the interface. A company admin cannot reach another company's customers, projects or money no matter what they click or type.

Superadmin sits above that boundary. Treat that access accordingly: you can see every tenant's commercial data, and the customers cannot see that you did.

Common workflows

Onboard a new customer

  1. Companies → new — company name, plan, billing cycle, max users, status Active
  2. Fill the Admin block — this is their first login
  3. Add the address and contact details
  4. Set the Stripe Customer ID so their Billing screen works from day one
  5. Send the credentials, and point them at Getting Started
  6. Check Overview → Recent Companies a few days later to see whether they actually got set up

Work the locked-companies queue

  1. Overview — read Locked Companies
  2. Stripe Subscriptions — find the failed payments behind them
  3. Most are expired cards. Contact the customer's admin and point them at Manage Subscription
  4. Once paid, confirm the tenant's Account Status is back to active

Upgrade a customer's plan

  1. Companies — open the tenant, change Active Plan
  2. Check Max Users is high enough for the new tier
  3. Confirm the billing side matches on Stripe Subscriptions
  4. Tell their admin what has just appeared in their sidebar — new modules with no explanation get ignored

Diagnose "we paid but we're locked out"

  1. Companies — check Account Status and the Stripe Customer ID
  2. Stripe Subscriptions — filter to that company and look for the payment
  3. Payment present but tenant locked → the Stripe Customer ID is wrong or the status wasn't reactivated
  4. No payment → it genuinely failed; the customer needs to update their card

FAQ & Troubleshooting

A company's admin says a module is missing.
Check their Active Plan against Feature by plan. Modules above the plan are hidden from the sidebar entirely.
Their admin can't add any more employees.
Max Users has been reached. Raise it, or have them free a seat.
A customer paid but is still locked out.
Nearly always the Stripe Customer ID or the Account Status. Check both before escalating.
Can I sign in as one of their users?
No. If you need to see what a specific user sees, ask their admin to walk you through it, or reproduce the role in a test company.
Why are these screens only in English?
The platform screens haven't been translated. The customer-facing modules follow the language setting.
Does the plan gate apply to me?
No. Superadmins bypass plan gating entirely, which is exactly why you can't judge what a customer sees from your own screen — read their plan instead.
What does the success rate on Stripe Subscriptions tell me?
The share of payment attempts that succeeded. A dip is usually a batch of expiring cards, and it shows up there before it shows up as locked companies.
Can I delete a company?
Set Account Status to inactive instead. It locks the tenant while keeping the data intact, which is recoverable — deletion isn't.

For platform issues, escalate internally with the company name, the screen, what you clicked and what happened — with a screenshot if possible.
